Communicating fashion's relationship to culture, history, and people's identities
Benjamin Wild is a cultural historian with experience spanning educational, cultural, and business sectors. Interested in storytelling and people's identities, his work focuses on the creation and critique of the stories people tell about themselves, their communities, and cultures and the form these stories take, particularly when they're shared visually and through fashion. Wild has written five books and numerous articles about fashion. As a commentator, researcher, and educator, he has collaborated with the V&A Museum, British Museum, National Portrait Gallery, Royal Academy, Sotheby's Institute of Art, BBC, Channel 5, and Vogue.
