Dr. Devon Gholam is the vice president of science and innovation at Step Change Innovations, a sales accelerator for science-backed, branded ingredients in the functional food and beverage, nutraceutical, companion animal, and cosmeceutical and personal care industries. Dr. Gholam's career has included product development, applications, sales, technical sales, and technical writing at companies like the Kellogg Company, Ganeden Biotech, Roquette America, and Prepared Foods magazine. She received her PhD in food science from Purdue University, specialising in food chemistry. She's particularly interested in ingredients for gut health and women's health.
