Lauren Collee is a writer and CHASE-funded PhD student at Goldsmiths, University of London. Her work interrogates popular cinema and the relationship between humans, technology, and nature. Her essays have been published in the Baffler, the LA Review of Books, Real Life, Another Gaze, The Chicago Review, Overland Journal, Uneven Earth, Public Domain Review, and more. She holds an undergraduate degree in English and French, from which she graduated with first class honours, and an MSc in Science, Technology and Society (STS), from which she graduated with the prize for best dissertation and best overall performance. She has taught courses at high school, undergraduate, and post-graduate levels.
