Due to their disillusionment with traditional career paths, younger generations feel more inclined to forge their own paths, which is causing significant shifts in working norms and expectations. 

 are increasingly looking to stay freelance long-term, prioritising autonomy over economic security, while 

 are questioning traditional hustle culture, often forgoing promotions in favour of side hustles and investment in non-professional activities. As 

 are likely to resign from their current job in the next year, it becomes critical for organisations to support the aspirations and desires of younger employees. Some are already taking steps:

Lack of equity in the workplace remains an ongoing issue. Barriers to access often begin during study and training years and extend into career-progression paths, preventing less privileged workers from thriving.
