What does Australia’s travel post-pandemic look like?

Australia's travel scene is reviving following the COVID-19 pandemic, characterised by a renewed appetite for exploration, eco-friendly adventures, and the discovery of local gems. As the travel industry adjusts to these shifts, emphasis on providing enriching experiences is key to its success.

Andrew Grune

Andrew Grune is a Sydney-based photographer and videographer and is co-author of the travel series Day Trip. He has lived in London and Berlin, where he co-founded cult fashion store Primitive London and garnered a reputation for discovering and nurturing new talent across art, music, and fashion.

Bede Fennell

Bede joined Tourism Australia in November 2019. He has over 20 years of corporate affairs, government, and industry experience in Australia and internationally. He has worked in politics at a Federal and State level, and for more than half of his career has worked for large corporations across a range of industries, from manufacturing to mining services and infrastructure.

Sarah Wei

Sarah Wei is a journalist and producer based in Melbourne and Hong Kong, with a focus on the travel, lifestyle, and arts and culture sectors. She has produced over 35 talks and workshops with 120 speakers, three large-scale 5-day events, over 20 community events,  one VR/AR exhibition, and more than 150 published features and stories across the region.
