While there’s growing awareness of the impact of tourism on the environment and local communities, there’s also a widespread lack of truly meaningful action to address it. Canvas8 spoke to Jeremy Sampson to understand the role businesses can play in building a solution.
Jeremy Sampson is the CEO of The Travel Foundation. With more than 15 years of experience in the travel sector, Sampson specializes in fostering economic equity for destinations and businesses, as well as advancing climate action. He also co-authored the UN Tourism’s Glasgow Declaration on Climate Action in Tourism.
