The Museum of Gravity

Dutch artist Krijn de Koning created ‘The Museum of Gravity’ installation for the Beaufort Biennale located at the ruins of Abbey Ten Duinen in Belgium. De Koning’s work skirts the line between art and architecture. The new piece is composed of small rooms and walls constructed within the old ruins of a Dutch Abbey. The brightly coloured pieces move through and over the old walls, intersecting repeatedly. The work creates its own space while modifying the existing one, contrasting the smooth vivid walls with the rough faded ruins.
