Smoothies count as just one of your five-a-day

Smoothies are thought to be an established part of a healthy diet, with 83% of people drinking a fruit juice or smoothie at least once a week. But new guidelines from Public Health England mean that smoothies can only count as one of the recommended five-a-day over fears of high sugar content.
