Lack of childcare is holding back birth rates in China

While China relaxed its one-child policy in 2013 and scrapped it altogether last year, it seems not many mothers want to have a second baby. Among other reasons, a lack of childcare services means that women are shouldering the burden, with many having to give up careers and stay at home.
