Coca-Cola alcopop targets sweet-toothed Japanese

Coca-Cola is developing an alcopop for the Japanese market, in what will be its first ever alcoholic offering. Coca-Cola is capitalising on the country’s growing market for 'Chu-Hai' drinks – canned low-alcohol drinks that are deemed socially acceptable to drink in public.
