How has Latin American music hit mainstream status?

From crossover kings Luis Fonsi and J Balvin to bilingual stars Camila Cabello and Cardi B, Latin music is experiencing a global boom. But with Hispanic Gen Yers still a relatively untapped market, how can the music industry and brands harmonise with these digital-savvy listeners?

Oscar Stagnaro

Oscar Stagnaro has won four Grammy Awards and received a total of six nominations. He is the co-author of The Latin Bass Book, a complete work on how to play bass lines in the Afro Cuban, Brazilian, Caribbean and South American music styles. He is also the executive director of the Spanish-language programme at Berklee College of Music, Boston.
