Indians prefer 'homegrown' personal care products

Despite being one of India's favourite multinational brands, Colgate's fortunes in the 'natural' market have taken a dent, as its Vedshakti brand loses ground to homegrown rival, Patanjali. Colgate, it would appear, do not have the tradition to back up its natural offering – something Indians prefer.
