HENRYs – those affluent (but not too affluent) young professionals who are getting a taste for the finer things – are a focal group for high-end brands looking to ensure their longevity. But what do these Gen Yers want to spend on, and what would convince them to keep buying from luxury labels?
Kelsey Groome is the senior managing director at retail advisory firm Traub. She led the firm’s annual study, The New Davids, which analyses the digitally native brands loved by Gen Y HENRYs.
Patrick Eve is the chief commercial officer at Gophr, one of the UK’s largest same-day courier services. Prior to Gophr, he spent four years as managing director of ZigZag Global, a logistics platform that helps retailers reduce the cost, waste, and friction in e-commerce returns. Patrick is also the co-founder of TranslateMedia, a leading SaaS platform in the language services sector. He started his career with ten years in South America working in finance at a global mining group, and then later as partner at a venture capital fund focused on e-commerce and SaaS. Patrick has a master's degree with honours in Spanish from Edinburgh University.
