How the cost of living crisis impacts meat-free Britons

While 2023 saw meat consumption in the UK hit the lowest level since records began in the 1970s, sales of much-hyped meat substitutes are falling. What role is the cost of living crisis playing in people’s vegan and vegetarian choices? Will they stick to their new habits as food inflation decreases?
