Harshdeep Mangat is a doctoral researcher at the University of Gibraltar’s Centre of Excellence in Responsible Gaming. His research interests include video game-related gambling and sports betting. Harshdeep also researches the political economy of esports and video gaming, including the changing legislations, regulations and related policies worldwide. Harshdeep aims to create a lasting impact in making video gaming and esports a safe activity for youth around the world, minimising any harm that can occur due to the problematic use of these activities.
